In honor of its tenth anniversary on Saturday, the
Grand Candy company of Armenia unveiled the world's largest chocolate bar. The record-setting confection weighed in at 9,720 pounds, measured 10-inches-thick, and 18.4 x 9 feet. Factory owner
Karen Vardanyan said he plans to store
the candy bar until October 16, when it will be chopped up and handed out to the public at no charge. Vardanyan estimates that it would take an average consumer 450 years to eat such a bar -- unless your name is
Augustus Gloop.
