"Those bitches broke her nail!" Ladybugs (1992)

The FIFA World Cup kicked off on Friday and soccer fans around the globe are rejoicing. Love that Beckham, but I'm just not into watching the sport, especially on TV. However, there's one exception—the movie Ladybugs!

The plot: Businessman Chester Lee (Rodney Dangerfield) is engaged to the mom from Mr. Belvedere Bess. In order to impress his boss at Mullen Industries, Chester has to prove himself as the coach of  an all girl's soccer team. He uses Bess' son Matthew (Jonathan Brandis) as a "ringer," dressing him up as a girl so they can win the big game. 227's Jackée Harry plays the assistant coach Julie. And we can't forget teammates p-p-p-Penny Pester and Carmelita Chu—she collects butterflies.

Chester: He's playing like a psycho, he's nuts!
Julie: Looks like Norman Bates is playing soccer.

Here's the movie trailer for your viewing enjoyment (or buy it here).
