How did the NBC peacock grow its colorful plumage? This cute 34-second short animation—a collaboration between Director Nathan Love and NBC Artworks—provides one possible explanation. The spot was inspired by the infamous Spumco promos, as well as vintage NBC logos. According to Creative Director Joe Burrascano, "The brief was to create a stand-alone logo animation for NBC. The only guidelines were to make it our own, and of course, for it to be 'the best logo ever.'"
