Perhaps best identified as the Beaver's charming mother June Cleaver, she was also the voice of the headless Nanny from the Saturday morning cartoon Muppet Babies, but actress Barbara Billingsley's funniest role had to be as the jive talker from the Airplane! movie.
Billingsley died Saturday morning at her home in California; she was 94.
