Starbucks will turn 40 years old in 2011. To mark the occasion, the coffee chain is going "green" and making plans to change its menu as well.

Starbucks says it will offer beer and wine, cheeses, meats and other savory snacks after 4pm. About 70% of all Starbucks business happens before 2pm so this is their attempt at sucking more money out of each and every one of us on a daily AND nightly basis appealing to all of us "night people." I predict success.

The first prototype for the new and improved Starbucks opened today in Seattle and seems to be getting mostly favorable reviews.
