0 Choreographed Airplane Safety Demo Takes Off

air safety demo, flight attendants, Cebu Pacific Airlines
Most folks tune out during the in-flight safety instructions, but Cebu Pacific Airlines devised a clever way to get everyone to pay attention to their demo. Passengers on a recent flight from Manila to Butuan City got more than a complementary tiny bag of peanuts pretzels and a soda.

Candice Iyog, VP of Marketing at the airline, told the Telegraph: "Cebu Pacific has always been known as a fun airline, we wanted to get the message across to our customers that flight safety doesn't have to be boring. This was an experiment that we hope to repeat and also a chance to showcase the talent of some of our cabin crew staff."

The largest airline in the Philippines, Cebu Pacific is known for gimmicks that include in-flight games and giveaways. But nobody could've predicted Lady Gaga and Katy Perry songs would feature in a choreographed airline safety demonstration. Video of the flight's performance was posted on YouTube and has already received nearly 2 million views in just a few days.
