The auspiciously-numbered day, October 10, 2010 (10/10/10), only occurs once every hundred years. Today, thousands of brides are getting married, astrologers are working overtime, and the internet is buzzing with conspiracy theories. Two of the more creative ways to celebrate 10/10/10 are being hosted online.

Photo-sharing site Flickr is asking everyone to Help Record 10/10/10 by taking a photo or video and uploading it to one of Flickr's 10/10/10 groups.

Video-sharing site Vimeo is sponsoring the One Day On Earth project: Across the planet, documentary filmmakers, students, and inspired citizens are recording the human experience over a 24-hour period (Oct. 10, 2010) and contributing their voice to the largest participatory media event in history.

How will you spend October 10, 2010?
