After 25 years in the plumbing business, Mario is still as popular as ever and definitely not ready to retire. Super Mario Bros. was first released on September 13, 1985 and since then, the original game has sold more than 40 million copies. The Super Mario Bros. series is the best-selling video game series of all time, with more than 240 million units sold globally.
Nintendo has compiled this SMB montage to celebrate the momentous occasion. Doo-doot doo doo-doot doo doot!
